Basically, ivory is genetic black eyed + albino, were BEW is a really overmarked rat.

I'm planning my first ivory x ivory combi later this year, expecting mostly ivory, small part albino - hoping for golden/honey too (like golden siamese/himalayan, without points)

I don't know much about colors, but it sounds like "beige" for me, but with black eyes instead of ruby (??)

It's a variety that only works on the C-locus ^^ Genetics unproven. Possibly agouti + black eyed + albino + golden modifier (either cinnamon or chocolate agouti)

Kazue passed away just after her birthday... We've had 3 wonderful years together, she was one of my most special rats ever, for sure. <3
I'm very thankful her offspring will continue to be bred by many breeders, even in France.

I'd let Kaida put to sleep unexpectedly - she had a swollen face, the vet made an incision thinking it was an infection/abcess, but it was a tumor.
I didn't let her wake up from the anesthetic.

Recently I've had Nanuq put to sleep - she had a heart condition, was treated for about 8-9 months and doing ok - untill one day her heart just couldn't take it, and I had to let her go.
